codFISH (Community of DeWitt Friends in Service Here) is a volunteer organization providing transportation to medical and dental appointments for residents of the Town of Dewitt, NY who are unable to drive themselves. codFISH is an all-volunteer organization with 501c3 status, supported entirely by donations. |
| How codFISH Works |
Interested residents of the Town of DeWitt must complete a registration form and release of liability. The release form can be downloaded from our website or call codFISH (315 463-5158) to obtain the form and return it by mail prior to using our service. When transportation to a medical appointment is needed, call the codFISH number. A volunteer dispatcher takes the pertinent information, locates a volunteer driver and the driver confirms the appointment. Clients should call at least a week before their appointment in order to find an available driver. The service is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 4 pm.
